Lay Pastoral Care
The Lay Pastoral Care Ministry of Christ Church seeks to serve God by living the great commandment to love one another. Our skilled and faithful lay staff offer comfort and support to members of our church family who are in need by listening, caring, and praying. When appropriate this ministry works in collaboration with the ministry of the Parish Nurse.
The ministry includes: lay Eucharist ministry, pastoral care visitation, Intercessory Prayer Network, hospital visitation, homebound visitation and Parish Nurse.
Parish Nurse
Christ Church is blessed with the full-time ministry of a trained parish nurse. Our parish nurse cares for the body, mind and spirit. There are many dimensions to the parish nurse ministry including health educator, advocate for church families in finding their way through health care systems, as well as to be a source for preventative and restorative care, and ministering holistically to individuals and families.
