Interfaith Hospitality Network
Christ Church is one of 12 host congregations in the Fitchburg and Leominster area who participate in the Interfaith Hospitality Network, which is a program that brings shelter, meals and support services to families without homes. IHN's are a cost-efficient, effective, and replicable community response to family homelessness. Because IHN make use of existing community resources, they can be implemented quickly, without major start-up costs. Hosting rotates weekly among the 12 host congregations in the Network. During each parish's one week rotation volunteers provide cooking and serving meals; playing with children or helping them with homework; interacting with guests, with respect and compassion.
Food PantryThe Food Pantry is open to the public each Monday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Those who come are given a shopping bag and are allowed to fill it with things they will use. We serve between 8 - 20 people per week. Donations are made by parishioners and can be left in the back of the church to be presented at the Offering.

Open Door
This ministry offers companionship and support once a week to people of the neighborhood by opening our doors and offering free coffee, food and fellowship. Scripture reading, receiving prayer requests, and praying for one another is also offered. For some that choose to join during the devotional, it may be the only worship experience they experience regularly.
Coat and Hat MinistryThis ministry provides clean and seasonal hats, coats, gloves, socks, blankets, and sleeping bags, to homeless and low income individuals and families in the community. The Minstry is run out of the church and is supported completely through clothing and bedding donations by the parish.
