Oratorio de Noel - December 24, 2021

The Festival Choir of Christ Church Fitchburg along with a string quartet appearing courtesy of Occasional Brass and Strings (Aaron Packard, Cynthia Cummings, Susan Kirchhausen, and Dr. Sara Wilkins) and harpist Li Shan Tan, perform this masterpiece for Christmas Eve 2021.

New Music Festival - September 30, 2017

We presented our first-ever New Music Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2017. A symposium for emerging composers from three states was led by Carson Cooman, noted champion of new music and Composer-in-Residence at the Memorial Church (Harvard University), and Dr. Robin Dinda, music director at the First Parish Church up the road and Professor of Humanities at Fitchburg State University. This was followed by rehearsals with the Christ Church Choir which participated in a Gala Concert that evening featuring premieres of piano, organ, and choral sacred music.
